Nepal Tourism Promotion in Europe Stakeholders

“Nepal Tourism Promotion in Europe Stakeholders” is a virtual committee decided to be formed in a meeting held between Embassies of Nepal Europe, Nepal Tourism Board, ENCCT, NRNA and other tourism stakeholders on 12th June 2022. The committee comprises representatives from organizational and institutional Nepal Tourism stakeholders both in Nepal and Europe. This includes Embassies of Nepal and Honorary Consuls in Europe, Nepal Tourism Board, Tourism Bodies in Nepal (e.g. HAN, TAAN etc.), Nepal Immigration, Nepal International Airport (TIA), Major Airlines, NRNA etc.

This committee is coordinated by ENCCT in collaboration with NRNA-Nepal Tourism Promotion Committee. The committee is entirely voluntary and a non-official platform. There will be regular meetings between the members of the committee.

The main objectives for the formation of this committee are as follows:

• • Discuss and brainstorm how to effectively promote Nepal Tourism in Europe.

  • Create a forum to make complaints on the difficulties of effectively promoting Nepal Tourism in Europe. Through this forum, channel to the relevant authorities for those complaints to be addressed.

  • Information and resource sharing to efficiently organize events and run programs to promote Nepal Tourism in Europe.

  • Explore ways of collaboration between organizations and institutions to do more at lesser effort and cost e.g. experience sharing, resource sharing, expertise sharing, ideas sharing etc.
